Hey everyone i need to know where i can get a free midi encoder (like finale) but cheaper that i can download of a site. I dont want pirated versions but a legitimate free one so i can publish songs on my website (i might re-awake my www.trumpetzone.4t.com dont bother going there it's gone).

I want the program to be able to print, save, and perferably easy to use (i may find hard things easy)

thx!

BTW i dont have a piano-keyboard so it has to be capable of composing songs by plugging in notes one by one with the mouse or whatever

You might try GNU Lilypond. It's a free, open-source program.

Whoa! the program looks really hard to use. the input that you type looks like C/C++ code!!! someone should design a better GUI for them but honestly, in my point of view i love the look of source code. i'd rather print that out that the sheet music
