I just got reminded of why I stopped playing CS.

Grrr I hate those little preteen kids on the mics. I was playing just now and kids not even old enough to have a permit are bickering about cars.
"Jap cars suck!" "American rules!" "Camaro pwnz j00 a11!"
Then this kid starts saying every 3 seconds how much imports suck blah blah blah. I could turn off the mics but they keep going on text.
Most of all I just hate their high pitched voices just piercing my brain. That coupled with their annoying taunts. Geez kids these days playing violent games so young.
Also it's time consuming. I should kick the habit again.

Thats why I play with my friends at their houses. We go to one of their houses, and have a lan party. There, we play CS, Warcraft 3, and other such new and cool games. But, that is why I stopped playing CS over the Internet, or at lan cafes. I got tired of all of the kids who have nothing better to do except play CS, and that is...well...uncool. So, I play with 17 and 18 year olds who only play when we have a free weekend. Plus, all of us are in the same Stats A.P. class, so we all at least are acquaintences, and we do not have to worry about whether or not we suck.

Nothing personal Mike but i find it funny cause
generally younger people are into imports and older people are into American Cars (from my experiences).

CS is Counter-Strike.
As for cars especially these days I wish I had gotten a gas hybrid instead of a BMW. Grrr I hate spending 20+ each week for gas.

Honestly Mike, I think that with the way the old gas prices were, I think that everyone was paying 20+ dollars a week on gas. I have a little Nissan pick-up, and I was able to top off at 25 dollars. I used to be able to top off at 15. How uncool is that.

LMAO people still play CS????? EWWWWWW!! i stoped that awhile ago.... Too many h4x0rs and n00bs that whine alot. People singing over the mics, game is very buggy for a VERY long time and it's old. I hate it when i shoot someone they dont die but i do or other weird stuff. just too many to mention.
This is why i like LAN parties because no more of that stupid kiddies. And if they are hacking or doing somthing stupid like pinging the router so we all get knocked out or netsendind we can disconnect them from everyone else ^_^

It made you bad in math and got you grounded for a year too. I would think that would be a good reason to stop.

haha that's soo true. I get all my gaming at LAN parties anyway once a month for 2-3 days. CCGenerals and BattleField1942 pwns!!!

I know this is an OLD thread, but I have been busy for a while so just deal with it...
I play Rogue Spear, Raven Shield, Jedi Knight 2, Galactic Battlegrounds (+CC), and WC3.
Anyone up for a match should IM me when we are both on. I think it would be FUN.

i play CC REnegade because its a first person shooter that is cool because it has the old chars and buildings form the first C&C. I like it because its easy to learn and real cheap. Does anyone else play that?
