Tour of Champions

Post by DanielE » Wed Jul 07, 2004 11:16 am

So, who's going to TOC? Has anyone bought tickets yet?

Corps that will be there are.....

The Cadets
Blue Devils
The Cavaliers
Madison Scouts
Santa Clara Vanguard
Phantom Regiment

I would suggest the premium seating.....it may be expensive, but it's worth it.....

Order tickets for the Rose Bowl http://dci.org/tickets/view_event.cfm?e ... e637e177c9 here.

Order your tickets for Qualcomm Stadium http://dci.org/tickets/view_event.cfm?e ... bb130f4357 here.

So yeah, don't miss this one....

I am hoping to get tickets to the show in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl. If I did this would be my first corp. show (I am über excited!). I am going to see if the marching instructors at my school would go the show I am so they can show me the ropes... They are all former marchers  .

I would probably be getting the seats one "level" below Premium. They run for $25. I hope that I don't wait too long and end up finding that they are sold out! That would stinketh mucho!

Anyways, hope to see you all there and wish the corps. luck!

Rose bowl is a pretty big stadium, even if they are only selling concert side seats, I would doubt that they will sell out of tickets.

Hi! VM Trumpet

I planning on going to TOC in Pasadena too. I would like to take some of my drummer that I will be working in Moreno Valley line with me to the show. But to consider they are "ONLY" Middl School Ages. I'm not sure if there parents or the students would show any interest in the TOC.

P.S.

I hope I can see you there

If I could go I'd go to the one in San Diego. I personally hate the Rose Bowl especially when I go see UCLA football games there. It's really tacky parking on the golf course and walking through it to get to the stadium.

If this is a recon for DCI to hold a true west coast finals in the future (Denver is NOT the west coast) then I hope they do not use the Rose Bowl.

Rose Bowl

Agreed Mike,

The Rose Bowl, while having historical factors...is not the place to hold DCI. Qualcomm, I think...is THE ideal place on the west coast. Although, I've heard the new Seahawks Stadium up in Seattle is pretty sweeeeeet.

First, there was WGI Worlds in SD and now TOC! I think I'm going to you know what in my pants! Cavies...Scouts...SCV...PR....BD...ugh! I can't wait. It's now time to start looking at my seats and figure out the average wait time for nachos between corps....then we take the average wait time for restrooms and schedule that into the breaks. Next, let's talk wind speed during the evening for maximum in your face blow your skin off your lips potential. And of course who was the cleanest tosses for the night. Watch those hands with the binoculars and judge where all the pinkies are in relation to each other and to their pieces of equipment. Never count out velocity and speed of rotations either.

Am I rambling?

Yeauhh boi! 8-)

I ordered the tickets today for ToCs! I got the seats that are just "below" the premium seating called "super" seating. They were $25 if you wanted to know. They will be shipped within the next couple of days and then I'll be on my way to some serious marching awesomenezz!!!

They corps will be holding a "workshop" from 4 - 6pm. The show starts at 7:30 as does the sound and dubba Cs!

If you want to go, there are still tickets available. Hope to see you there!

Well, my tickets are in and I'll be on my way on August 11th to my first ever drum corp show! Pretty cool that it happens to be the ToCs.

My tickets seat is Section 18, Row 65, Seat 2. To see where your seat is in relation to the fifty and how high up you are, click here.

Hope to see you there!
