'tis the season

Post by CaptnContra » Fri Jun 04, 2004 3:11 am

Man, 15 days until the official start of the Drum Corps season here in Cali!!!

So am I the only freak that starts getting all amped up after the long, slow downtime between seasons? Every year around this time I bust out all the old vid's, dvd's and cd's and just immerse myself in the glory that is DCI. I just can't wait to hear the corps and watch them grow and develope as the season progresses... Damnit, where'd I put my '89 finals tape again?

/me wanders off looking befuddled...

My dear Riverside Companion, you have no idea. I'm stuck up here in Portland, waiting patiently for school to end so I can do my 16 hour drive down the coast for this season's tour. Exactly 20 from now, I'll be hooking up with Yamato.... and in 19 days, I get to see a show up here in Woodburn (BD, SCV, SCADES, OC, & the new kid on the block Spokane thunder)

waiting patiently....
