Mandarins Memorial Day Camp Update

Post by mandarins1 » Tue Jun 01, 2004 9:18 am

The Mandarins held a successful Memorial Day Camp at Lodi High School. The drill is now complete and the full show on the field. The corps was able to take Monday off to spend with family and friends in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday.

The Mandarins have one mellophone, one baritone and one color guard opening. The corps would like to fill these spots as soon as possible since the first show is in three weeks, Saturday, June 19 in Stockton.

Anyone interested in filling these spots should contact Greg Mar (color guard) or Ron Munekawa (staff coordinator - brass spots) through the email link provided on the corps web page here: http://www.mandarins.org/html_pages/framesets/info.html

Experience is helpful, but the Mandarins are most interested in finding hard working individuals who want to be part of a team effort.

You will see us on the road this summer in Northern California, Southern California, the Pacific Northwest, and throughout the country on our DCI tour. Our show schedule is also listed on the corps web page.

Best of luck to all drum corps in 2004!
