Hehe, well honestly for me, it's too early to tell. I think though that all of the corps will have strong performances this year. Although I'm not too sure either about The Cavaliers' "007" show, I expect them to make something good out of it, so it'd be interesting to see them pull a few surprises. Kudos to them for doing something different.
Same to The Cadets. One of my favorite corps...I have high hopes for these guys right now, they're sounding great so far. I haven't heard much of anything from Phantom or BD, two of my other favorites, but I think this year belongs to the Santa Clara Vanguard. They're sounding great right now and I have a good feeling about this show...if not 1st, then definitely a solid Top 3 show.
But like I said, it's too early to tell. And you never know if another corps will step up and shock everyone. 2004 is going to be a great year for drum corps.

I don't know...after seeing those clips in that other thread...SCV is sounding great. Yea, yea there's still the issue of visual but just hearing those chords was amazing. Scherezade is amazing...and I can tell you that Vanguard will do it. They will bring it this year. Everytime I yell "They're always ready!", I mean it.

Isn't that a Blue Devil thing? I was always under the impression that it was. Sort of when someone yells "GO MICHELLE" when the Cavaliers come on...or some other female's name.FourEyes85 wrote: Everytime I yell "They're always ready!", I mean it.
Whatever
As for the prediction. eh, I'll wait for denver. All in good fun though, I understand.

Oh...hmm...you know you might be right...I just remember my first year going to a comp someone did it...second year someone else...then I just did it from there on...maybe that's where my funny looks come from? lolclusknay wrote:Isn't that a Blue Devil thing? Hmmmm.... I think someone's going to tie again.... Wouldnt that be a bummer.. Cavs, cadets, BD, and SCV all have interesting shows so its hard to tell who it will be. And wouldnt it just be a kick in the pants if Phantom hoped on up with them and won everything... Haha... Its a close call... We'll see what happens.
P.S. And yes "They're always ready!" IS a scv thing.

I think you mean...each of these corps have interesting "concepts, and music." The "show" is a work in progress all the way through August. Who knows though...music and concept could be awesome...then when you see it on the field...it might leave you saying something like "What happened!"SDAsnareplayer wrote: Cavs, cadets, BD, and SCV all have interesting shows so its hard to tell who it will be.
The whole package is what counts.
