Esperanza

Post by caifbandfan » Sun Dec 07, 2003 7:37 pm

To everyone at Esperanza, I just want to say THANK YOU!!!
These last two days have been the best. I never play in a brass section so big and good. Today, I can't believe how many of us there were.

Thanks again everyone at Esperanza.
See you all next Sunday.

Is it too late?

I have some friends that want to march. Can that still come out?
I told them they could but they wanted me to check.
One plays Trumpet, the other Baritone.

Yes, they can still come out.
Bring them with you on Sundays at Rancho Bernardo High School from 10-4

I'm glad you had a good time last week. We are all very excited about the next season.

No Practice on Jan. 11th?

Post by that1girl » Mon Jan 12, 2004 12:24 pm

Anyone know why there was no pactice yesterday? There was nothing on the web site about it being cancelled.

It wasn't cancelled. You must not have gotten the memo about rehearsal being moved to a different location. But there was in fact rehearsal on Sunday the 11th. Practice is going be at RBHS again this weekend for the camp.

Our brass instructor said we need some more baritone.(we had 17 there Sunday) They have not set the brass line yet, so if you are a hot player, you might still have a shot.
Your best bet is the go to the web site and get any information you need and maybe e-mail the director.

Yes. Just come out to the camp this weekend at RBHS sat 9-9, sun 9-5. More info at www.esperanzaarts.org

This is the final auditions for the front ensemble. But I believe there are still many horn spaces available.

So, one of the burning questions going around the internet waves....

Is Esperanza moving up to Div. 1, or are they staying put in Div. 2?

Wow, 5 California Div. 1 corps... this will be an AWESOME summer. It will be cool to see Mandarins, Pacific Crest, and Esperanza all dukin' it out. Should be an exciting time if they do move up. Although... I do hope they get matching horns by this summer.
