In Need Of Tuba Rentals

Post by PeteDogsMama » Tue Sep 30, 2003 8:36 pm

Hi everyone. :) I'm a bass clarinet gone tuba, and I probably will try out for a drum corps this year, and I'm in desperate need of a rental Bb contra tuba. I'm too poor to buy one, and I really really need to get used to the tuba if i plan on being able to hack it by January. :D I'm in southern california, so if you have any info AT ALL about ANY renters in the so cali area, please please please email me at bassplayerelf2@yahoo.com. I really appreciate it! :D
And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Just buy yourself a mouthpiece to start with. I can't think of any corps that doesn't supply their hornline with contras. Just buzz on that mouthpiece building your chops and study the different fingerings with each note. Good luck!
