Where do the woodwind players go? They are an equal part of BAND.

City Sound is a Drum and Bugle Corps. Unfortunately woodwinds are not a part of that kind of ensemble, even though very similar to the activity of marching band (mostly in CA). But I'm sure if you contact them they can tell whether they take converting musicians (for the summer), or can refer you to a corps that does.

This should have been posted in Drum and Bugle Corps, though, to ease your confusion.
