Nah, it's not gonna be Casella, it's going to be Tom Aungst. Remember, he was the "lead percussion consultant" for the Blue Stars this past season. The line in the Blue Stars' press release, "the Blue Stars have a plan in place for the future and will be announcing it next week" also makes me think the new Percussion head will be someone from within the organization.
You wait and see; I'd bet money that it will be Aungst. Huge move for the Blue Stars, too, getting once of the best percussion minds in DCI history. They're serious about getting into the Top 5.

This is great news... I'm SO GLAD to see the team is back together at the DCI World class level. 2001, 2003 and 2005 Cadets are some of my favorite percussion books of all time, not to mention this will be a huge bump to the recruiting/audition numbers for the Blue Stars.
