Parents and Educators,
Your students are in good hands while marching with the Impulse Drum and Bugle Corps!
Six of our staff members are California credentialed educators; three are band directors while another three are K-12 grade teachers.
Every staff member is currently active in scholastic pageantry as an instructor, clinician or adjudicator.
Interested Brass, Percussion and Color Guard Students,
At Impulse, you will learn from experienced instructors from the top organizations in the drum corps activity!
Fourteen of our staff members marched with or instructed the following DCI finalist corps:
Blue Devils, Blue Stars, Boston Crusaders, Cadets, Cavaliers, Freelancers, Phantom Regiment, Santa Clara Vanguard, Sky Ryders, Spirit and Velvet Knights from Anaheim
All four of our color guard instructors performed with the 2009 WGI Independent World Class Silver Medalist Corona Winter Guard.
Impulse is still accepting brass players and color guard performers to come and join the fun!
We also are searching for two keyboard players to perform in our new synthesizer section!
The beginning of the 2009 drum corps season is just around the corner, come and see what Impulse has to offer at our next rehearsal:
Date: Saturday, May 23rd, 2009
Time: 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Location: California High School, 9800 Mills Ave., Whittier, CA 90604
If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must accompany you to sign in at your first rehearsal.

Re: Impulse Announces 2009 Staff
It's NEVER a waste of time to march in an excellent corps program.
Period.
My corps had a couple of years where we didn't travel outside of the state. Ask any one of them if they felt their time was wasted and they will all say NO.
In fact, by careful building the corps became very successful and eventually became a DCI finalist.
Good luck to my friends at Impulse. I'm looking forward to seeing you on the field this season.

Confucious, I don't know what your problem with Impulse is, but you really need to contribute more to this forum than sniping about them.
