Bought (& printed) my ticket out today.

If you're in the San Jose area, the SCV Alumni is holding a fundraiser at Chevys the same day. Eat, then walk to the Cinearts theater at Santana Row for the Countdown.

Ok...so....I'm gonna be the first one to say it....

Who else thinks we should boycott this event next year?

Two reasons:
1) The sound quality was horrible. (It would sound better in my car)
2) Those really horrible, lame interviews with the "studio audience"

I've been boycotting it until they start bringing back older shows. I don't need to PAY to go see shows I still remember (and own on DVD).

This was my first time going to countdown. I agree. I don't think I will be attending next year.

I went because I do not own the DVD's and I love Phantom! I wanted to see the craziness that was finals last year. But the sound!!! It was horrible!

Ugh.

But I will be attending quarter finals... if I am not in Indy, that is!

The stadium looks pretty sweet though.
I am NOT too old for this!

I'd rather be Dreaming... in a tree.

Our sound quality was pretty good, it was very quiet and we had to tell them to turn it up, but over it was good and in a brand new theatre too... however I did not like the news about the new rule to allow electronic instruments.... err
