After a general introduction meeting, we will have a “meet and greet” time to give you the opportunity to meet the caption head of the section you are interested in joining and learn what they will expect of you. We have added new staff to our already outstanding staff from 2008 and we are looking froward to the 2009 season with a new fire and determination.

We will hold “Open House” at our new rehearsal facility, Goldenwest College. The address is 15774 Golden West St. Huntington Beach, CA 92647, however you should park in lot J on the Gothard St. side of campus. We will meet in room 115 of the Recreation Education Building (#24 on the campus map) Please see map links at the bottom.

We will be playing some of our 2009 show music as well as some of our new "gig book" music. SoCal Dream plays on "G" bugles and we have many to loan, but if you have one of your own, bring it with you. If not, bring a mouthpiece and we will set you up. Drummers, bring a pair of sticks and anyone interested in colorguard, bring a weapon and flag if you have one and dress as you would for a rehearsal.

We know that with our current economy paying a membership fee to march a corps is an easy expense to cut from your finances. We want to give everyone who wants to march the ability to afford to do so. Therefore, eventhough we were already one of the most economical corps to march with, we have cut our membership fee as close to the bone as we can. Dues, staff, music, and uniform fees are all included. We have developed a very easy payment plan to make paying the fee as easy as possible. We also have fundraisers available to help offset your fee.

This is going to be a great day to find out about SoCal Dream’s plans for the 2009 season and see our new facility. If you have any questions, please email Membership@SoCalDream.org or Info@SoCalDream.org.
