Pacific Crest Experiences

Post by tanokiman1 » Tue Nov 11, 2008 4:11 pm

Hey Everyone, I have a quick question for everyone, Have you ever marched at Pacific Crest? and if so, how was your experience there? I'm thinking about auditioning and want feedback about the experience. Thanks to anyone who replies.

I marched PC and had a good time. I met some people I'm still friends with now and will probably be friends with for the rest of my life. As is with most things, you get out of it what you put in. If you want to work hard and be competitive while still having a fun, relaxed atmosphere, then PC is a good place to do it.

First DM, then Baritone/Euphonium, then Cymbals. XD

We'll see how that goes though.

I marched there for 4 years and would not trade that time for anything in the world. It is an experience that will change your life, as would any drum corps experience. I have friends that I marched with that I will have in my wedding. They are like brothers now. I had a great time. Its really nice to go to shows and see my former staff and fellow members and we can talk as if we had seen each other the day before.

As someone previously put, you will get out of it what you put into it. They have a lot of great staff that will teach you a ton of stuff. I highly recommend PC regardless of what level you think you are.
