Oh Vanguard! That is going to be such a tasty treat! Copeland... YUM!

Hope their guard designers really get into the meat and bones of Martha Graham's signature style of movement. ( I am such a GEEK!)

oOo!
I am totally looking forward to Bluecoat's "Imagine"
sounds too good, I can't even explain how I feel about it.

And Holy Name Cadet's show sounds exciting.
Do you guys think they will pull off the audio-talking-deal again?
People say it bothers them that they do it, but I don't think its THAT bad.

it all really depends on who you talk to about the whole narration and amplification ordeal...

for me... if it's done tastefully I'm alright with it.

tastefully meaning its not overpowering the horns and battery....
tastefully meaning there is just as much music going on as talking...

Disagree with the just as much part. I'm going to have to insist that they have WAY more music that talking. Way more, meaning something approaching an infinite number of times more. Okay, I exaggerate, but there's no doubt that any narration from the Cadets will be under more scrutiny than any other corps.

i agree i think it should be music first, if you must do narration i think it needs to be done subtly and used only to enhance to theme of the show, it should never be a main part of the show, its drum and bugle corp not drum, bugle, and narration corp. i loved the this...i believe show and i thought it was done well, i also loved the first in the zone show, but i think the cadets are talking to much now, and no one want to listen to what they have to say, we want to hear what they have to play.

Good to know that Spirit watched the tape of Rancho Buena Vista HS winning sweeps with THE EXACT SAME MUSIC at the Savanna Tournament in 2002. Not that I had ANYTHING to do with that show....cough cough cough...

LOL!!!
