I thought I remember seeing something about a corps doing "The Red Violin"?? Or am I crazy? (don't answer that!)

I watched the movie last night and fell in love with the score!

That is a great movie and a great score! And, certainly would be an interesting show for a corps to perform!!

But, haven't seen anything about anyone doing it. But, it's certainly something to think about for the future!!!

Man, where is Song For America? I did it with my youth band back in 1994 and it kicks. Eight different time meters makes it lots of fun!
Spirit just released their finale repertoire for this show, and guess what's in there?

"Song for America"
"Carry On Wayward Son"
"Point of Know Return"
"Dust In The Wind"
"Journey from Mariabronn"

No way. I refuse to believe for one second that the Cavaliers will actually be doing some Don Ellis charts. The 93 Blue Devils hornline just laughed until they coughed up their spleens. This, I'm sure, will turn out to be another cheesy original music program. Gotta be.

Right?

Here come the Troopers!

(I don't think it'll involve anything from the actual WSS.)
