LOTS of movement this week in the rankings, as the Cavaliers regain the top spot, while others rise and fall all over the charts. Carolina Crown surges from 13th last week to 10th this week, thanks in large part to a very strong showing in San Antonio. On the flipside, the bottom fell out on the Glassmen, dropping from 11th to 14th. Due to the unique circumstances from Saturday (all of the corps sans Pacific Crest performing in the same site), Saturday's scores were given even more weight into the rankings than normal (a 50% bonus, in fact). This helped some corps (Carolina Crown, Crossmen, Bluecoats) and hurt others (Seattle Cascades, Mandarins). But hey, such is life: you gotta bring it when all the other big dogs are in the same yard as you.
That said, Saturday wasn't the only day with input into the rankings, and some of the scores from a couple of days prior helped make things interesting.
