Phantom Phan's DCI Rankings (07/14/03)

Hruh? A tad early, aren't they?
Yes, due to a quirk of DCI scheduling, the only Division I corps to be performing on Sunday is Pacific Crest. Thus, to get the biggest possible sampling of scores, I've bumped things up a bit, taking scores from Wednesday through Saturday to formulate this week's rankings (instead of the normal Friday through Sunday).
And the same exact thing happens next week, too!
Rassin-frassin' DCI.
As for this week, strong performances out West have helped Phantom Regiment edge in front of the Cadets for #3 on the rankings (just BARELY), and they've also been kind to the Blue Knights and Magic of Orlando. On the other hand, Spirit has had a rough trip out West so far, and their ratings reflected it.
The 6-12 rumble continues to be as tight as ever. Just when you think a certain corps (Madison) is going to separate themselves from the pack, they stumble. This week, the Bluecoats are in the #6 spot. Who will be there next week?
One thing we do know for sure: it's shaping up to be a two-horse race for the DCI title in August.
