The Blue Devils have a tendency to do Channel One Suite. Three of their championships have had Channel One Suite in there somewhere.euphman wrote:The show was Channel One Suite. They absolutely killed.
Although, I do think they did it pretty damn well in '76.

Actually wait, the cadets have always been right up there with the devils percussion. This last year their drums outscored everyone. I saw them in Texas, and man, they were pretty DAMN good. But I'm still sticking with the 99 bd
no longer dealing with high school ^_^

Sitting in the stands in Madison in August of 1999, halfway through the Blue Devils' show I said to myself: "Oh! They DO have a battery."
They didn't impress me. After a rockin' opener, the show just becomes BLAH and the battery disappears for several minutes.
I second what everyone else has said about 76 and 86 BD, though. Awesome, awesome, awesome. 1976 Blue Devils is one of the ONLY pre-1980s drum corps shows I enjoy listening to over and over again.
