Post by JohnnyffX » Wed Nov 26, 2003 9:52 am

So does anyone have any clue as to what you are playing for concert season? Any bands taking up Armenian Dancess By Alfred Reed? Well good luck on your music people...

El Dorado played Armenian Dances last year during concert season. I'm not sure what we're playing this year, but I also don't know if that answered your question? lol.

We are currently playing holiday songs for our upcoming holiday concert (coincidence, i think not) I can't think of all of them but a few are, Sleigh Ride, Parade of Wooden Soldiers, Stars and Stripes for Christmas, On a Cold Winters Night, the Lighter Side of Christmas, and some more I cant think of.

Yay for Sleigh Ride!
We're also playing A Christmas Festival, another Leroy Anderson piece that kicks major tushie, and then Farandole, Frosty the Snowman, A Christmas Hymn, Holiday Favorites, and something else...

I'll remember on stage. :D

hehe, oddly enough, I remembered the other pieces right after i finished the entry. Hate when that happens, dont you? Anyway, the piece was "Hey Man, Christmas Swings" which I didn't play in, so it was ok. :D

We're also doing Christmas songs, but none of them are really that great. The main ones we are working on is March of the Toys, Nutcracker suite, Winter holiday, and a few other medleys.
