I sent in my application, but realized afterward that I had time conflicts and could not do it. I sent SCSBOA an e-mail but they have not yet returned it, so I will be calling them within the next few days.
Good luck to anyone auditioning!

I'm worried because it has me down for ContraBass CLarinet, but the Contra isn't coming until AFTER my audition! Arrrgh.

Wow...I didn't realize that people actually auditioned on contra. That's so cool.

so stoked, hope i make it. have fun!
which ensemble would you guys prefer to be in?
as a percussionist, i <3 the band. last year, i put orchestra as my top choice, but i was placed in the band and OMG am I glad I was. it is SO ridiculously fun and the parts were nuts.

but can someone explain the result process to me? I'm from NC and I don't really understand how the auditions in the 3 different areas are put together and chairs are decided...
