all national honor band

does anyone know where to go to find info on the all national honor band convention in may? i was thinking about auditioning on bass clarinet...maybe.
definitions are for the definers, not the defined... who are you?

Well, the only "national" honor band I know of is the Bands of America Honor Band.

Except they perform at the National Concert Band Festival in March, not May, and they'll be announcing the members for it on Saturday.

You're too late for 2006. Start practicing now and send in your audition tape over the summer for a chance at the 2007 band.

isnt there one in carnagie hall in may also though? it was supposed to be conducted by H. Robert Reynolds.
oh well...i know theres something in carnagie hall in may or else my high school's wind ensemble is going to new york for nothing. haha. that would actually be funny.

Yes, MidAmerica Productions runs the National Wind Ensemble conductoed by H. Robert Reynolds. You can get info at www.midamerica-music.com
