i love this piece. this has to be the best literature i have played in my band life!!!!! anyone else played it.

we played it 2 years ago, it's okay. i like el camino real by alfred reed better tho.

Khachaturian's "Armenian Dances" is better than Reed's. My favorite Alfred Reed piece is easily "Symphony for Brass and Percussion" (especially the last two movements).
