I am just curious where you guys are going for spring tour. We are going up to L.A We leave tomarrow!!!!

we went back down to pasadena to perform at the CMEA state convention, i suppose that was our spring tour. last year we did hawaii which was concert, marching, winter lines, everything, but this year we had more of a winter tour because of rose parade.

We were supposed to go to Hawaii... but that never panned out. In fact, our tours often never pan out. Sad really.

we're going to Hawaii next month, we're not doing any playing though, strictly sight seeing *shrug*

my soph year we went to Austrailia...we actually played there

We may be going to Australia next summer. That would be soooo cool because it's an Eric Whitacre Festival in the Sydney Opera House!!!!!

But it might be to expensive for us to go...

Just don't eat at the restaurant next to the opera house (shaped like a mini-opera house). At least when I was there in 1988, it was Sydney's most expensive restaurant.

Yey!!! Our Director announced today that we're (the wind ensemble) going to Heritage festival in Las Vegas!!! He was originally going to take symphony but seeing as how we did at festival....it's not possible. What's better, we're being hosted by none other than my old middle school director and his new band at El Dorado HS (this is one in Nevada btw), who left to direct a band over there in Nevada. I can't wait!!!

We just got back from Hawaii last week and it was a lot of fun. It was so nice to go to some place nice for once instead the normal ones.

grrr....our Las Vegas trip got nerfed by the administration. Turns out we had to inform them of such a trip at least six weeks before. Oh well, there's always next year.

Where are you guys going on Spring tour??

Fontana High School! Marching Band, Color Guard, Wind Ensemble went to Hawaii for a 6Days and 5 Nights. And also perform there too.
