Congratulations to all who survived the audition process.

To all else, you are invited to hear this fine group which has been commented as being better than other all-state ensembles throughout the nation. The performance of the Santa Clara County Band Directors Association Honor Band is scheduled for Sunday, January 19th at 2pm. The venue is Spangenberg Theater on the campus of Henry Gunn High School in Palo Alto. This year's guest conductor is Dr. Ed Harris, Director of Bands at San Jose State University.

What a great concert you guys gave today!!! Ed Harris is truly a great mind to work with. Heh, even if you had the extra "encore" for recording purposes, you guys sounded like you weren't even tired. I fell in love with a new piece I've never heard before....Eric Whitacre's "October."

For those of you who missed the concert because of football, you can order a CD through http://www.johnsondigital.com. I believe the price is $15.00.
