Westlake HS at CBDA

For the third year in a row (Sinaloa Middle School Concert Band from Simi Valley in 2003, and the Moorpark High School Wind Ensemble in 2004), a Ventura County band has been selected to perform at the California Band Director's Association State Honor Band Conference in Fresno.
The Westlake High School Wind Ensemble was selected to be a showcase band at the annual CBDA Conference on February 19, 2005. A big ol' congratulations goes out to them from...well...me!
It is to be noted that the only middle school to be selected to perform is right down the street from Westlake High School...Lindero Canyon Middle School, under the incredible direction of Matt McKagen will be representing the city of Agoura Hills at the CBDA convention. Way to go, guys!!
