Music Building Benefit Concert January 19th

Rancho Bernardo High School’s Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra and the San Diego Civic Youth Orchestra will present a Benefit Concert for Rancho Bernardo Music Building Sunday, January 19 at 3:00 p.m. The concert will be held at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts, 5498 Espola Road in Poway.

Each of the three groups will present a variety of selections. The San Diego Civic Youth Orchestra directed by Robert Gilson will perform Poet and Peasant by Franz Von Suppe and the Introduction and Scherzo of Saint-Saens Symphony.
Mars from The Planets by Gustav Holst and Anton Dvorak’s Finale to the New World Symphony #9 will be performed by the Rancho Bernardo Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Gary Horimoto.
Rounding out the program are selections from Puccini’s opera Turandot and the 4th Movement of Danceries by Kenneth Hesketh presented by the Rancho Bernardo Wind Ensemble directed by Tom Cole.

General Admission is $10.00 and will benefit the Rancho Bernardo Music Building.
