Dr. Wayne F. Pegram (1938-2011)

Dr. Wayne Pegram, who retired from the music faculty at Tennessee Technological University in 2003, died of a heart attack on January 1 of a heart attack in Jakarta, Indonesia. Dr. Pegram was my band director 1976-77. He seemed a bit tough but he was a very benevolent dictator. He was in Indonesia to be a part of the wedding of his son, Joey.
