Most exciting piece? Hard for me to say. So many pieces evoke so much emotion. Sometimes a piece is exciting one day and not the next. Music, unlike the visual arts, rely on the moment to truly capture the emotion. This being said, I can identify two amazing musical moments I've had as a performer in the ensemble:

1) Freshman year at CSUFullerton, final performance of our Wind Ensemble Hawaii tour, Pines of Rome, the windows to the hall were open and we could hear the rain mixing with our sound - surreal moment.

2) As a grad guest on the CSUF Wind Ensemble tour of Japan, Blue Shades to an over-packed house of middle and high school students, amazing response by some amazing kids.
