The St. Olaf Band comes to California in February 2009

I took "wind" of this upon seeing an advertising poster at my church. The St. Olaf Band is under the direction of Timothy Mahr. It will be nice to see Mr. Mahr's return to Northern California as he was the guest conductor of the Santa Clara County Honor Band in January 2008.

Just a reminder that Sunday is their first stop in Palo Alto.

It was a GREAT performance! That Maslanka symphony was pretty intense!
