Mmm, the CSO. Only bummer is the fact that it is on YouTube. Ill have to watch it later as YouTube isnt being my friend right now...

I noticed that Adolph Herseth was still in the trumpet section on that CSO video. He has been retired for a few years, but was one of the trumpet 'gods' of the 20th Century with the CSO.

By the way, I understand that the current CSO principal trumpet, Christopher Martin, played in DCI back in the early '90s.

Way back in the day, when I was at Long Beach State ('67-'71 era), the brass players looked to the CSO brass as the sound to emulate.
