and orchestra?

i noticed that there's never anything about orchestras online. anywho, i need to find a solo piece for string bass and can't seem to find one. i really really need it for college auditions. i tried out fo honor orchestra with this easy piece with nothing but half notes and triplets. and it was slow. and never high. arg. so yes... go orchestra! and go people that can never find or get solos, even if they're the best players in their ensembles!
