Post by guardee101 » Sat Feb 07, 2004 3:14 pm

hey everyone!! i am on colorgaurd and i think baton looks like so much fun!!! is it at all similar to sabre. for those of you that do both, which is harder. does it help a lot to have a history with guard?

Guard is very hard if you do it right, hard, and with techinque. It takes years years to master. Sabre and Baton are two totally different concepts, you can't compair 2 totally different things.

For me cuard was harder because you actually have to count rotations and stuff like that Instead of just counting hown long it was in the air. I have been doing baton since I was 5 and guard for about 8 years and let me tell you sabre and baton are two diferent things.
