Congratulations to all of the solo, duet and team participants in the Southern California Baton Booster Association Charity Competition on February 15th at Orangeview JR Hi in Anaheim...
The Day was terrific and we had the good fortune of spending most of the day in the Quad Area which doubled as the warmup and training area for the day.... The well run event was a big hit with the proceeds going to the make a wish foundation.... The Fantasia Baton Corps Boosters from Riverside did a terrific job at the gourmet snack bar.... the event was well organized and ran smoothly.... I have been promised the names of many of the winners so we can put them up in the winners circle.....
Special thanks to Tina Widener of the Waves team who organized the event and to Dawn Kirscher who is SCBBA President.... As always Debbie Salem of Fantasia and a;ll around baton guru was ever present lending a hand everywhere...
