who's Tim Pony? ... i wonder...

anyway, good luck at downey next week!! our show is coming along great, but there's a lot of room for improvement. so keep up the good work! remember, we're going against some pretty tough schools, so we have to be tough in order to compete with tough. (that kinda didn't make sense, but you get the idea.)

Don't get too cocky. It's only one competition.

How about sharing some of the other results? They're not posted yet on the ADLA site and we missed yesterday -- out of town. I'd love to hear how some of the other groups did.

Post by toeknee tee win » Mon Mar 07, 2005 3:42 pm

We have a lot of work to do.... as you all saw, the shows were great. I love La Sierra's show. Awesome concept. So get ready for a really hard week Grove!

This is what i love....

I love a line that works hard, then wins, then brags about it online... in a public forum... in front of everyone.... with their instructor....

i mean, a 74.7 is very impressive.... in scholastic B

Found: first place
Created: a place to talk about it

first off, props to Garden Grove HS for wining Scholastic B first competition of the season.
As what MV tenor was saying, I'm sure every school works hard to put on a show. It just shows a lack of respect and maturity to make an account on a public message board to brag about their first place. And then to top it off with a cherry, have their instructor join in.

*edit*

if you notice, almost all the posts were from new accounts (1 post) and are from GGHS

PS - lock thread, delete thread, this needs to end. :?

i agree.....

so say my drumline works hard, and wins.

does that mean i can run to the message boards and post away?

Topics for future use:

we won we won we won

w00t w00t 1st baby

working so hard it hurts

my apologies

Post by toeknee tee win » Mon Mar 07, 2005 8:56 pm

Like I have said before, I am sorry you feel like we are bragging or what not and that I as an instructor, have joined in. You are far from the truth. If you know Garden Grove and it's history, we have always been and will continue to be respectful to everyone.

As for the one post. It's called getting involved. Everyone needs to start somewhere. I teach my kids to support everyone and to be positive. It's also my idea becasue I want more traffic for this site. I think there are a lot of great posts that people are not aware of.

So again, please except my apologies for we are not here to hurt but here to support and help keep this art of percussion alive.
