Introducing the newest of the newly-fangled Heavy Hitter Pads--the HHP Basspad! It's the first of its kind with a simple design where it mounts to a cymbal stand. Steel construction is the name of the game here--this cookie won't crumble when the going gets tough. Now you don't have to nail a couple of your old (non-HHP) pads to a tree to practice bass drum technique, and your door jam will finally get a rest from all that wrist turning! Now you can practice playing vertically on a 14" wide surface without the noise or weight of your drum. Unlike when wearing a bass drum, you can now see stick angles, stick heights, side to side line up, etc. We've even used lush 1/4" thick rubber to make it as realistic to a bass drum as possible. As an unexpected bonus, the metal plate under the pad actually starts to resonate as you drift away from the "dead" center! Could this thing be any more astoundingly amazing? it's even purple! Mount it to a cymbal stand, then get your metronome out and let the jam pump forth. Yet another victory for common sense straight to you from your vision sharing pals at HHP! Recapitulation Hut!:
-built 14" wide just like standard bass drums
-mounts to any cymbal stand
-6" diameter gum rubber pads are made 1/4" thick for a feel
more like your bass drum
-sturdy steel construction with a mega-durable purple
powdercoated finish so that you and the purple can both go
the distance
Hear what some random chieftons are saying about the Heavy Hitter Basspad:
"Now when the ladies are checking out my super-sweet wrist
turn, I can rest assured that my stick angles, stick heights,
and bead placements are mint--and of course there's no
slicing going on thanks to the HHP Basspad."
-Bass B. Pumpingjam
"With the parts that I play, I really only need one mallet, so tell
me again why I need this bass pad?"
-Slice O. Blivious

Haha, thats great. Not quite as convenient as other pads, transportation wise, but good to practice bass parts indoors, while practicing tech at the same time. Never thought I'd be seeing that though.

That's exactly what it is, but it is still of interest to percussionists, and he never actually tells us to buy it.rbbassline3 wrote:does anyone else notice that the one who started the topics name is heavyhitterpads? and he only has one post. I smell free advertising!
