Hmmm who do think is gonna win or who we want to win? From what I learned after awhile is you can never gess too early because theres always a few drumlines that can surprise you when champs get close.

you know, anything can happen in one year. New instructors, new students. or what not.... why don't we wait until the first few comps to see who will have great interesting shows.

Who Would Win?

Post by hhs1 » Tue Feb 01, 2005 11:57 pm

:D Relax my friend no need for hostile actions now. I personally would like to see the following succed OPEN AB miller awsome hands dont get the credit they deserve I thought they should have won last year Garfield again good hands should of beat all the cheezy acting in the division in world yeah HAWTHORNE no acting in ur face drummin saddleback just as good
can you dissagree they dont have talent. it was very close last year so yes a sulprise can happen. My posting was meant to see wat every one thinks.
kinda like super bowl pics in september no need for hate man. Hey even
westminister can pull a sulprise rite? but i bet steve would not bet on it.
by the way tell him we miss him here at hhs good luck to all and to all a word
of advice ENOUGH OF THE BAD ACTING GET ON WITH THE DRUMING

GOOD LUCK TO ALL HAVE A GREAT SEASON

Ok first of all, it's "surprise", not "sulprise". Second of all, honestly, I thought Saddleback was better than Hawthorne last year, so (even though my high school isn't competing in ADLA this year, so I probably have no say in this matter) I would think Saddleback should come out on top in ADLA World.

World?

Post by hhs1 » Wed Feb 02, 2005 10:10 pm

Now there we go! sorry for the spelling not one of my great attributes.
good point but, sorry to dissapoint you just like Hawthorne saddleback is going
trhough a rebuilding year and is competing in open. HAWTHORNE on the other hand decided to remain in world division win or loose!!!!. this WAT I WAS looking for just people with their choices or favorites.
HEY WAT ABOUT ALL THE OTHER DIVISIONS????? :D

Ok I'll stick my neck out on the line. It's my first year back at Garden Grove and we will be competing in Scholastic B. All original music and show. It's a new line,... come and watch us and tell us if you like the show and if we would be competitive enough for this year. :D

#1 - Yes, Saddleback will be competing in ADLA open this season, not world.
(... and I love how people who know absolutely nothing about saddleback's situation like to talk about it.)

#2 - It has become painfully clear that the outcome of the season (as far as awards are concerned) will depend solely on WHO is judging. But I'm glad that there are still people out there who don't treat this activity like it is a full-contact sport. (talking about the "Winning is everything" and the "we are better than you" attitudes)

#3 - Hawthorne is good, Hawthorne is great.... all hail the thorne. you guys are the best thing since sliced bread.

Have fun this season! - see you at the shows.
