Practice Set for Tenors at home?
Those of you who play tenors, what do you use to practice when not at school? Do you have a set of practice pads? And if so, could recommend a set? Thanks.

its xymox man. yeah they make tenors and quint practice pads that are great. they sell mini sets and full size sets that are the same size as the real drums. i have the snare practice pad that actually sounds kinda like a snare. personally i think its a bit expensive but they do help a little biit. also for tenors try getting some 5 gollon dry wall buckets and cutting the bottoms to the right size and use those. they work great. and if u need to get some xymox stuff go to www.sticktape.com or www.xymoxpercussion.com
i hope i helped. have any other questions.

I'm going to have to agree with Quint Kid on this one. The Heavy Hitter's are your best bet. Durable and simulate an actual drum better than any other pads out there, they actually have rebound. I don't have the Tenor pad, but I do have the snare one. No complaints about it.TMR Quint Kid wrote:http://www.drumhard.com/pages/reviews/quadpadreview.asp
