And you (Survivor), thought ED wouldn't make top 3!! but yeah, lots of high scores. Wish i could've seen all of the performances. RB scored a bit lower than i anticipated, wonder why. So yeah, any more thoughts people?

I made it in time to watch RBV, RB, El Dorado, and Arcadia...it's too bad I didn't get to see Chino. From what I saw, I thought Arcadia was the strongest line there...I'm sure Chino was very clean as well.

That's a pretty astute observation, bass1! As the host school, their score was not published in the recap, but their score of 93.4 would have put them at the top of the groups you were able to see!

Arcadia was the only(high school) show I got to see last night. I was really impressed by their drumline, it was very clean, and my goodness, 7 snares!!!!!! So I'm not surprised at all that their score was 93.4

Yeah man big congrats to Chino, good job you guys.

RB line came off the field feeling just awesome about our show, we played really well. The judge thought a little different and i spose we got outplayed, but whatever, we felt we played our best show of the year and it felt great.

Although a sour ending for us (scorewise), we were still happy with our performance.

We'll be back next year lol.

well I'll comment on the stand stills, since everyone likes the field shows =P

Some schools didn't compete this year that did last year for some reason. I really wish Chino did, I know they did one run-through of their show after awards, just kinda curious as to why they didn't participate in the drumline comp. I know RBV was at Temple City practicing their show (major props to them for practicing in that cold weather!)

The kids from Temple City were kinda wishing Chino to perform, just so we could compare ourselves =P
On a side note, I'm kinda impressed that TC scored a 92.3 (2nd) when they went on so early in the comp, where Valencia got a 92.5 (1st) going on as the last group. Not saying that TC should've won, but sometimes (not this time) it can be at a disadvantage going on early.

RBsnare - Don't let the fact that you weren't the highest scoring group of the evening ever change the way you feel about your show - you should have come off of the field feeling great, because you did have a great show! There were many outstanding lines there that night, and they should all be proud of their accomplishments this year - they truly have "raised the bar" this year!

Yeah, from what I've noticed, you guys over at RB seem to care alot about scores (Best drumlines review thread says it all). It's not about the scores, it's about knowing you had a damn good show, and that's ALL that matters.
