John Whatley has a Bachelor's Degree in Instrumental Music from Cal State Long Beach and currently teaches music at Westminster High School.

I been learning a lot from him ever since I came to WHS. He's a very versatile drummer and can teach you styles like Jazz, Soca, Rock, Funk, Raggae, samba, and much more. Mr. Whatley is the best drumset teacher/player I ever had and can really get in your minds and turn you into a great drummer.
