Mandarins Pit Spots Available

Post by mandarins1 » Mon Apr 19, 2004 10:42 am

The Sacramento Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps are looking to fill out their taiko section for the 2004 season. Based in the pit, these players will also be featured on accessory percussion equipment as well. The next camp will be held this weekend, April 23-25, at Lodi High School, Lodi CA. Visit our new audition page at: http://www.mandarins.org/dci/auditionintro.html

The pit audition page is located at: http://www.angelfire.com/music4/martian ... itaud.html

To participate in the camp weekend, you will need to complete an application form and $75 dues (there are no separate camp or registration fees, so this will cover all camps). You can fill out the application form at camp, or have one emailed to you by requesting one through the percussion caption head, Les Wong, or Brian Aguilar, pit instructor, at the addresses located on the corps web page: http://mandarins.org/html_pages/framesets/info.html

The Mandarins will be entering its second year in Division 1 after a successful debut this past summer. This year’s DCI tour will include the DCI Orlando Regional, with shows in the East and Midwest leading to the DCI Championships at Invesco Field in Denver, Colorado. The corps’ full summer show schedule is listed here: http://mandarins.org/html_pages/framesets/info.html
