The Lines

Post by Shota871 » Wed Apr 21, 2004 2:59 pm

I think for this year, the ADLA World lines are going to be Hawthorne, Downey, La Quinta, Saddleback, and El Modena.

Saddleback may be most likely to win, but I'm rooting for Hawthorne (especially THEM BASSES!!!!!), and El Modena (their show was awesome).

If South Torrance is willing to take it's challenge, GO SPARTANS!!!!! 8-)

North High School Drum Line ('00~'02)
North High School #10 Tin Can Band ('01~'02)
El Camino College Varsity Band ('03~'05)
USC Trojan Marching Band ('03~'06)

Hawthorne has a really strong Battery, but Saddleback has some really good talent too :hum:

Rubidoux went on to other circuits like the Southern California Percussion Alliance (SCPA) and Winter Gaurd International (WGI). They did very well in both. :D

Its gonna be a great battle between Saddleback and Hawthorne. Hawthorne is my line that i instruct right now and Saddleback is my Alma Matar and were i started teaching drumline. The cleanest will be on top at the end, so good luck to both. I cant wait.

5th Downey
4th El Modena
3rd La Quinta
2nd ?????????
1st ?????????

Hawthorne holds the highest score in Adla, however Saddleback was in a higher division than Hawthorne in the other circuit. Saddleback was at the bottom at Scpa and Wgi, yet Hawthorne was on the upper part of their division. So it could be anyones game!!!!!!!!! I havent seen Downey, El Modena, or La Quinta. ill get to see El Modena and Downey this weekend. So its gonna be intresting how it all comes down. Good luck to everyone at Champs.

 Come on ya'll yeah saddleback and hawthorne can throw down but El modena hasnt put there whole show on the floor yet and there getting pretty clean I know they got the best visual pakage and concept in ADLA if they can play clean and trow down like i hear they can they got a chance at getting close to the 2 "Good lines" as you all say. We competed with them field season and i herd there show this year and ive been following them since.Dont count them out. One thing i dont like too much about there show TOO MUCH FREAKING PURPLE YA HEARD!!!!
