i beleive that the drumline should be seperated from the band only because of one factor...drumline is hardcore baby yah!!! :nenr: but if i dropped my malet and my solo was coming up, i would probably use my hand if i was on bass or tenor, but if i was on snare i would get it or grab someone elses.haha i would be scared :shock:

uuuhh???? How old are you anyway? You are new to the WOP Forum and so far your postings read like you are really a junior high student. If you keep making postings like this and some of your others, you won't make many friends here. Plus you'll paint a target on yourself as flamebait. So be careful...

don't be stupid... PICK IT UP

I once saw this stand still line where a tenor player dropped his stick on the floor. The WHOLE rest of the song he just stood there. All he had to do was bend over and pick it up. I gurantee that you'll lose more points for not playing than if you quickly bend over to get your stick. I realize that there are exceptions like when you're marching quickly, but you shouldn't be dropping your stick in the first place :P

WELL WHEN I PLAYED BASS 3, THE BALL OF MY MALLET CAME OFF AND FLEW IN THE AUDIENCE DURING THE BASS BREAK!!!!! I WAS SO IMBERRISED! ALSO, WHEN I PLAYED BASS 2 I WAS OVER HYPING AND I DROPPED MY MALLET RIGHT BEFORE THE BASS BREAK SO I GOT OUT AN INDOOR MALLET AND I PLAYED THE BASS BREAK WITH TWO DIFFEREND MALLETS!!!!! BUT IT WAS OK CAUSE WE STILL GOT CHAMPIONSHIPS AND HIGH BASS....

Stickbags= room for error

I've never dropped a stick. Means you have done something different during the show. Sucks for you.
