OMG... just got home from the Mission Viego Copetition (SCPA) and it was raining so hard for the PSA lines. Has your Drumline ever encountered problems with rain at the competetion? oh man for us it was so bad, we didn't get to use the floor and our hands were freaking cold..

Our instructor put us through probably the most intense warm-up we've ever done, it was freaking awesome...so our hands were everything but cold...plus it wasn't raining hard later in the night...

at the Arcadia comp it rained while we were performing. It was so cool! Water was splashing everywhere. I so enjoyed doing that. It was the best we ever played since until championships came.

The rain wrecked our instruments so badly, especially the electronic equipment. Worst of all, we had to take a lot of the mallet instruments and other stuff and place them somewhere in the second bus (but that was b/c of lack of storage). The rain did heavy damage, but our drumline (SV) got 8th place @ Mission Viejo on their 1st-ever winter drumline show. =)

The judge placed us in 8th. If you look at the recap, there is no 11th place, whereas there should be and not a 9th place. Then again, I'm confused myself, too.
