Recruitment Ideas

Currently, my drumline has about 7 members and is continuously decreasing. We have tried asking friends/classmates if they might be interested, but they denied. Any ideas on how to recruit students and make them more interested ?

Well, I don't know if this is a high school or middle school. If it is high school, I would actually have started with middle school and make it fun and build to go into high school. Brian Aguilar is beginning to compose for MIDDLE SCHOOL Winterpercussion ensembles.
I would get videos. Our students are VISUAL more more than aural. Get them to watch some videos of some OUTSTANDING winterpercussion performances. Take them to a competition or two. Best wishes. STAY POSITIVE and motivated.
