The 2008 WGI Independent Open Finalist and SC-PA Independent Open Gold Medalist Valley Independent Percussion is beginning its fifth competitive season and will again be competing in Dayton Ohio for the WGI World Championships in April 2009. We will also be competing at SC-PA and various WGI Regionals. Currently we have limited openings in the battery & pit. Here is what we are looking to fill:
Snares: 1 spot
Tenors: 1 spot
Cymbals: 2 spots
Pit: 1 syth spot
The season is in full swing so come on out and audition!
Don't let money keep you from marching we have a great board that is always willing to work with our members.
Our Next Practice is:
Sunday December 7, 2008 - 11am to 6pm
There is no audition fee!

Valley Independent Percussion is having their first camp of the season this weekend!
We still have one snare spot and one tenor spot available.
All of this seasons shows will be in the So-Cal area with SCPA & WGI.
We will again be making the trip out to World Championships representing SCPA in the PIO Division as a returning finalist.
Here is our camp information:
Saturday Jan 3rd - 11am - 6pm at the US Armory in Bakersfield
Sunday Jan 4th - 11am - 6pm at the US Armory in Bakersfield
Please RSVP if you are new this weekend so we know what equipment to have available and can provide you with music beforehand.
Don't let money keep you from coming out. We have a wonderful board that is always willing to help out our members in any situation.
Don't let distance keep you from marching. Many of our members are from the So-Cal area and are more than willing to help you carpool.
