no, it's not... but the goods provided by Pro-Mark (usually for early registrants... not sure on details) are.

Last year's fee was $25 I believe. This year's fee hasn't been announced yet.

Don't miss out! This is your chance to 'hang with the best' as you "learn to play the RCC way! This Saturday, July 26, in the upstairs Bradshaw Center at Riverside City College, you'll be able to soak up a lot of knowledge from the "experts," as they help you learn how to practice, what to practice and how to prepare yourself for an audition - for any audition, be it for drum corps, chair placement or college.

Sean Vega
tops the list of clinicians, presenting a general session on pads, as well as a tenor clinic. Mr. Vega was DCI individual tenor champion when he marched with the Blue Devils, has spent many years on the BD staff AND is the man behind the RCC success: 3 WGI Gold Medals and 2 WGI Silver Medals in 6 trips to Dayton!

Pete Sapadin, the mind/hands behind the famous "Jedi Knight" snare drum show off piece - yeah, THAT Pete Sapadin. This is your chance to ask anything you want, to see - up close and personal - how it's done. Mr. Sapadin has marched with the Velvet Knights (back in the day), the Blue Devils and the Cadets! He has taught numerous drum corps across the country and several groups in Japan. He's 'the guy' behind the success of the RCC snare line. Have you seen them?

Ike Jackson
, who got his start in the bass line at RCC, before moving on to the Blue Devils, is now one of the most well known percussion instructors in SoCal, thanks to his sense of humor AND his Ayala HS program. What about Impulse? And Pulse? A Pro Mark endorser, Mr. Jackson is a busy guy - so it's great to welcome him back!

Jenny Jackson, (no relation) Jenny Jackson has been the cymbal technician for the multi-time WGI Scholastic World Gold Medalists, Mission Viejo High School, for the past 14 years. She has also been on staff with Riverside Community College for the past two years leading them to Gold and Silver Medals. Other credits include the 1996 Velvet Knights and the 2000 WGI Scholastic A Gold Medalists Loara High School. Jenny is a proud user of Zildjian cymbals.

All you have to do is show up! Bring your sticks AND a great attitude - to the RCC Bradshaw Center, this Saturday morning. Registration opens at 9:30am, with the first session at 10am sharp! For more information about how the day will be structured, check out the articles on the RCC Band website at www.rccband.org

Guest clinicians! AND a performance by members of "Riptide," the amazing summer show at Sea World! Yeah - all for only $25! Tell your friends! Spread the word! Don't let this chance pass you by!
