Check out the 2005 Contest Calender. For WGI's reasoning behind the schedule here's the link.

All I'll say is talk about a big move in dates and locations:

Hayward - from the 4th weekend in March to the 2nd weekend in Feb
Riverside/West Power - This show is essentially one in the same for 2005 held at CSU San Bernadino, but not held on the same date that the Riverside Regional was on.
Fresno - what was Power is actually still on it's old week, the first weekend in March, it's also the last regional in California setting Las Vegas aside, which lucky for you SoCal people is on the same weekend that Hayward was on.

As far as percussion is concerned I hope they get the same venues that color guard gets now that Guard and Percussion aren't hosted at the same time.

this stuff kinda sucks because through my three years of winterguard, all the competitions were held around the same time as the other years, and kind of made it habit to expect certain competitions around certain dates, and i don't know, this kinda makes it feel like tradition is broken or something...

Wow I just read the article about having guard and percussioni world championships seperate, wow this would suck. What about groups with more than 1 units? I mean, not everyone has the funding to send two groups to WGI at different times.

Yeah, the dates changing, what's up with that?

Hmmmm, weird idea there. I don't like it.

ya it sucks cause we have the big rig and that mean that our dad that drives it has to take two weeks off. like it will probibly be better in the long run but who knows
