what is your favorite peice of equipment? why?

i personally like sabre because it is so graceful, plus it is so hard to get, that once you do, it is such an accomplishment

i like rifle the most because it is the peice of equipment that requires the most strength and its just a grrr kind of equipment

Sabre all the way. I think that it's more of a "GRR" piece of equipment as Flagratgirl said... it is a lot more challenging and that's what I love about it.

And cracking sabre catches just feels really good. LOL!

well, in the poll, which didn't include sabre, i said rifle. Everyone says I'm good at rifle, whatever, but i think i like sabre better. Just the way it spins in the air and everything is just so much more interesting. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE rifle, but if I had to choose, i would say sabre.

Why did you pick sabre... when you only put Flag and Rifle on the poll? LOL!

Sabre is great... just make sure it's a spanish sabre and not a fisher price sabre. I HATE THOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They hurt more than the spanish ones.

Well I for one like flag the most. I think it's the most expressive peice of equipment, and who doesn't love a good flag feature? Plus every color guard uses flags just about (big exception for Raiders '93 of course...

) So yeah, flag gets my vote!

Rifles make the whole show, with out it the guard would be boring!!

I agree that rifle and sabre can make a show so fun and exciting to watch but the one thing that does it for me in a show is the ENDING FLAG PHRASE!!! I love seeing all the performers on the floor with flag giving intensity speed and energy!! its awesome to watch!!! Id rather see a huge clean flag phrase than a weapon line throw a 9 or something

On the poll I put rifle, but my favorite is definitely sabre. It has a balance between the thoughness factor and the light pretty factor, I think.

I like rifle. It hurts alot more. It's more fun... and they automatically get dancer spots in our school and I like to dance soo

Sab-re and shield. I love both. I love shield because I can so all most anything with it, and I like sabre because I just learned it, yet I can do a lot. My sabre and I work really well together!!!!

What about swing flags? LOL!

People always seem to forget the swing flags.
HAHAHAHAH!

I think they're pretty cool... especially the BIG DOUBLE SWING FLAGS!
It makes a small guard look HUMONGO! Great effect too.
