is it possible to make a flag spin 4-5 times in a toss? i mean has it ever been done?

I'm sure it's possible ... but the flag would probably have to be pretty weighted to keep it going around. The most I've done is three. The weights really do help to get it around.

I don't think it's possible to toss even a 5 foot poll 5 times around... It's hard enough to get a 3 and I think a 4 is possible with lots of motivation and momentum :)

three of our five old member flags as of our last sat practice could get a 3 around but one of us tossed it so high it almost hit the gym vent thingy  not gonna say ne names but it was the scariest thign i have ever looked at

five?? stretching it...

i think a four is possible but a five...it would have to be some fantastic fantasia person prolly who is really strong and is out in the open (not in a gym or something)...

hmmm....im sure its "possible" but it would definitly have to get tosses pretty high up, and have a TON of momenentum.

I can get a 3 around, most of our old members can, but I've never seen higher than that. I think that with no cieling and a lot of weights a four could be done but a five just seems like it would take some kind of super human.

I'm definitely sure that it is possible because if I know that someone can toss a 10 on Rifle, I'm sure that you can toss a five on a flag!

rifle is a lot different than flag. A five just seems like WAY too much. How would you keep it going that long?

I'm not in physics but... seriously, think about it... You'd have to have massive weights, full extention, 5 foot flag maybe... it just doesn't seem logically possible.

flags tend to stall in the air..... i think that to get enough weights in the flag to get a 5 you wouldnt be able to keep the stopper on it.

hmm i think tossing a 4 or 5 would really depend on how long the pole is too. like, ive tossed a 3 with a five foot pole, so wouldnt it be easier to toss a 4 with a short flag? but then it wouldnt be as cool...eh, oh well.

Well I'm in Physics, and if you have a the right amount of Torque, it's possible....But you'd have to have strong biceps and triceps to get the amount of Torque you need.
